So, just when I'm thinking what a crazy unorganized disaster I can be lol My 11 year old daughter hands me this drawing.  To know that through her eyes she sees me has totally organized and put together gives me hope : )

I just got back from Las Vegas.  I had an amazing time.  I love the energy that the city has and let's face it, there isn't a better place to "people watch". While I was there I went to see the Phantom.  It was one of the best events I've ever attended.  I have always loved the Phantom.  I have the soundtrack and the movie (you know it's bad when my son could sing all of the lyrics at age 5 lol).  One of the reasons it has such a special place in my heart is because of the song "That's all I ask of you".  My dearest childhood friend sang that at my Wedding over fifteen years ago.  Let me just say that there is no coincidence that the main character's name is Kristine.  As I listened to the words and thought back about that day it made me realize how easily we can take those around us that are the most important for granted.  Often, they are the ones that get put last because we know that they will "understand".  One day my husband saw me making a scrapbook for somone and he said, "you know, you've never made one for me."  You know what?  I haven't.  So my challenge this week is to make one.  It might be a little late in coming but I'm sure it will be none the less appreciated.  When it is completed I will post it!

I am strong

I need no one to define me

I define myself

I support the definition

Others make for themselves

I hope to inspire others

As they form their personal definitions

I hope to see greatness in others

That will help define my own greatness

Yet, I need no one

to ultimately see the greatness in myself.

Kristine's passion for paper crafting began when she was a little girl growing up in Blackfoot, Idaho. As a child she remembers designing stationary sets and trying to sell them to the other neighborhood children. Her love of paper and design drew her into the scrapbooking industry.  She has worked with companies such as DCWV, All My Memories, Lasting Impressions, Three Bugs in a Rug, and We are Memory Keepers. She has developed products for both QVC and the Home Shopping Network and also had her work featured in various publications and idea books. Kristine believes that scrapbooking is about more than simply placing a sticker on your child's soccer photo. It is a form of artist expression, using paper as the medium and memories as the inspiration. She strives to bring practical products and ideas to the industry that save both time and money. Currently she is a featured expert on, a website that celebrates the lives and talents of women and you can also see her several times month as a contributor on KSL studio Five.  She resides in Spanish Fork, Utah with her husband Dan of 15 years and their three children Tanner, Kelsey, and Cameron.
