My Bucket

Runneth over!

Okay, so I've been thinking about the "Bucket List".  You know, all of the things that you want to do before you die.  I'm kinda in my mid-life crisis moment so I've started to think about things like that lol! Anyway, one thing I've always wanted to do is run in a race.  I like to stay in shape but I would definetly say that I am NOT athletic (my adorable husband would agree).  I love to walk/jog in the mornings.  For me it is a way to clear my head (and shrink my bum a bit hopefully).  Honestly, I just love to plug into my i-pod and get lost in my thoughts.  However, my husband (who is gorgeous and athletic and fabulous . . .and did I also mention smart lol) decided that he is going to do an iron-man.  I figured this should give me the motivation I need.  I am going to start small, with just a 5K.  For me this is huge.  I do not like pressure and I do not like competition.  I am my own worst critic.  I started my training program yesterday and it actually felt great.  Life has been so hectic lately that I haven't been exercising much so it was nice to get back in to it.  So, here is the CHALLENGE. Now that the kids are back in school . . . what is one thing on your "Bucket List" that you can work on?  Scrap it.  Explain why and what it would mean to you to accomplish it.  I would LOVE to see your finished page.  Please e-mail it to me!  See the contest on the home page. : )

Okay, so you are saying to yourself . . . why would she include this random picture?  Well . . . this would represent over a years worth of design work.  For the past year I have designed for all of We R Memory keepers media segments such as QVC, HSN, or any televised craft segments.  I have LOVED it.  It truly is my passion.  However, it has become such a huge monumental task that it is necessary for me to take a step back.  My husbands law firm has become increasingly more demanding on our family and it is necessary that I spend more time focusing on our home.  SO, this is a picture of my car completely loaded from front to back with various designs and projects that I have worked on in the last year.  This decision has been so hard for me, but I know that I am doing the right thing.  It is amazing how much extra space I now have in my scrapbook room lol.  Luckily, I will continue to design for We R Memory keepers (I love them) but I will no longer be the lead.  I am excited for this new journey.  It will be interesting to see how my life changes over the next year.  I am thrilled to focus on my family as well as have more time to focus on individual projects that I am working on.  I am excited to get this site up and going.  I love to create projects for my on-air craft segments and people are constantly asking me for the instructions or pictures.  So now I will have a place to direct them.  Hopefully over the next few months I will have all of my projects and downloadable instructions posted.

Kristine's passion for paper crafting began when she was a little girl growing up in Blackfoot, Idaho. As a child she remembers designing stationary sets and trying to sell them to the other neighborhood children. Her love of paper and design drew her into the scrapbooking industry.  She has worked with companies such as DCWV, All My Memories, Lasting Impressions, Three Bugs in a Rug, and We are Memory Keepers. She has developed products for both QVC and the Home Shopping Network and also had her work featured in various publications and idea books. Kristine believes that scrapbooking is about more than simply placing a sticker on your child's soccer photo. It is a form of artist expression, using paper as the medium and memories as the inspiration. She strives to bring practical products and ideas to the industry that save both time and money. Currently she is a featured expert on crazibeautiful.com, a website that celebrates the lives and talents of women and you can also see her several times month as a contributor on KSL studio Five.  She resides in Spanish Fork, Utah with her husband Dan of 15 years and their three children Tanner, Kelsey, and Cameron.
